I'm sorry but this project makes the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas city look like a child designed it...
I love Inhabitat's review of Moshe Sofdie's "dramatically daylit atrium"... the last time I checked most performing art centers are used at night! And who in there right mind puts that much glass on the south and west of a building in this type of climate?

Dear Anonymous,
While I have not had the pleasure of visiting the La Llotja Theatre and Conference Centre in Spain I have been on a recent tour of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City. The interior space of the Kauffman Center is much better than the exterior (at least the atrium space is) -- though it is still not great. The atrium is mostly white and devoid of any color (Apparently the designer(s) are either color blind or scared of color all together. That or they did not take into account most of those attending will be wearing black).
Anyway I agree whole heartedly with your critique of Sofdie's design and Inhabitat's review!
